Dave FrohmaderDave Frohmader began Civil War reenacting in 1987, when he joined the 3rd Wisconsin Veteran Volunteer Infantry. He joined Thomas' Mudsills in 1988 and participated in many of the 125th and 130th Anniversary battle reenactments held throughout the country. His first national event was the 125th Battle of Gettysburg and he plans on returning again for the 150th. He left the 3rd Wisconsin in 2006 to help form the Ol' Sipley Mess as an authentic off-shoot of the mainstream group. Dave is a professional commercial artist and currently works from his home studio in Fort Atkinson, WI. He is married to Donica, who he met through the hobby, and they have two children, Adam and Lillian. Dave also serves as the web administrator to this website, the Old Northwest Volunteer website, the Old Northwest Citizens website, and created and manages the website dedicated to the history of the 3rd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry. |
